About the Program
Program Overview
The Instrumental Music Program of DDSTEAM invites students to explore music as both an art and a skill. Through interactive lessons, young musicians learn foundational techniques, musical notation, rhythm, and performance skills using a variety of instruments, guitar, piano, drums, and ukulele. The program emphasizes creativity, focus, and teamwork while building confidence through practice and performance. Whether strumming chords, keeping a steady beat, or performing melodies, students gain an appreciation for music and develop discipline, coordination, and a lifelong love for the performing arts.
Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program, students will:
Learn Instrumental Basics: Understand rhythm, tempo, and melody through hands-on instruction.
