Grade Levels: TK/K, High School, Middle School
Estimated Hours: 3-4 per week
Summary
Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy is seeking a Lead Culinary Instructor who can turn kitchen basics into hands-on adventures. This role is all about guiding young learners through simple recipes, helping them build confidence, and creating a classroom atmosphere that feels welcoming, fun, and just a little bit magical.
Your Responsibilities:
Teach & Inspire
Lead interactive cooking lessons that focus on essential skills like measuring, mixing, and kitchen safety.
Break down recipes into easy, follow-along steps for young chefs.
Create a Supportive Space
Encourage teamwork, creativity, and curiosity.
Help students of all skill levels feel proud of what they make.
Keep Things Running Smoothly
Prep ingredients and materials ahead of time.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
Record attendance and communicate any supply needs or updates to the program team.
What Makes You a Great Fit
Experience in culinary arts, nutrition, or education.
Background working with kids in a classroom, camp, or enrichment setting.
Familiarity with basic cooking methods and food safety.
Strong communication skills and a positive, engaging presence.
