Overview
We’re seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Coding and Robotics Lead Instructor to teach engaging, hands-on STEM classes for elementary students (K–3).
Starting in January 2026, this role is ideal for educators who love technology, creativity, and empowering young learners to explore the exciting world of coding and robotics. You’ll lead interactive sessions where students learn foundational concepts in programming, problem-solving, and teamwork through fun, project-based learning.
Key Responsibilities
Lead coding and robotics classes for K–3 students using Digital Dreamers’ structured curriculum.
Teach basic block-based programming concepts (such as loops, sequencing, and debugging) in an age-appropriate and engaging way.
Guide students in hands-on activities with robotics tools such as LEGO Robotics, Sphero, or other age-appropriate platforms.
Encourage collaboration, creative problem-solving, and critical thinking throughout lessons.
Manage classroom setup, organization of robotics kits, and cleanup after sessions.
Adapt teaching approaches to different age groups and learning styles.
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that supports curiosity and participation.
Communicate student progress, class highlights, and updates to program coordinators.
Qualifications
Experience teaching or leading activities for elementary-aged children (K–3) in schools, camps, or enrichment programs.
Familiarity with coding platforms such as Scratch, Blockly, or similar block-based systems.
Experience working with robotics tools such as LEGO Robotics, Sphero, or Dash and Dot.
Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills.
Dependable, patient, and enthusiastic about STEM education.
High school diploma required; college coursework or degree in Education, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
Must be 18 years or older and able to pass a background check (Live Scan).
Part-Time | Contract | 4–5 Hours per Week
