About the Program
Program Overview
The Martial Arts Program of DDSTEAM introduces students to the physical and mental discipline of martial arts in a positive and supportive environment. Young practitioners learn foundational techniques such as stances, kicks, blocks, and forms while developing balance, flexibility, and self-control. Each class emphasizes respect, perseverance, and teamwork, values that extend far beyond the mat. The program builds physical strength and coordination while nurturing character, focus, and resilience. Through structured routines, self-defense practice, and mindfulness, students gain confidence, discipline, and a strong sense of respect for themselves and others.
