About the Program
Program Overview
The Photography Program of DDSTEAM invites students to explore the art of visual storytelling using any available device, whether it’s a camera, smartphone, or tablet. Students learn the fundamentals of composition, lighting, and perspective while discovering how to capture emotion and meaning through images. The program encourages observation, patience, and creativity, helping students develop both technical skills and artistic confidence. Each class provides opportunities for hands-on practice, reflection, and expression as students photograph people, nature, and everyday life from their own point of view. The goal is to help every learner appreciate the beauty of storytelling through photography, regardless of the tools they use.
