About the Program
Program Overview
The Sculpture Program of DDSTEAM focuses on creative self-expression through the art of three-dimensional design. Students learn to shape, construct, and assemble sculptural forms using materials such as air-dry clay, paper mâché, wire, and recyclable materials. Each session allows for imaginative freedom as students explore abstract and realistic creations, from animals and figures to imaginative structures. The program strengthens fine motor skills and artistic confidence while nurturing observation and creative thinking. Students learn that sculpture is not just about building shapes, it’s about expressing stories, ideas, and emotions through art.
