Program Overview
The Ukulele Program of DDSTEAM offers students an engaging introduction to playing a musical instrument in a relaxed, encouraging environment. Learners discover how to strum chords, keep rhythm, and play familiar tunes while exploring melody and musical expression. The ukulele’s size and simplicity make it perfect for beginners, allowing students to experience success quickly and joyfully. Through group lessons, music games, and mini performances, students develop coordination, listening skills, and confidence. The program emphasizes teamwork, rhythm, and creativity, showing that music is not only a skill but also a way to connect and express oneself.
