Think like an engineer as you design, build, and test solutions to hands-on challenges. Students explore structures and mechanisms, learning how small changes can make their creations stronger or more effective.
What students do
Students follow the engineering design process to solve building challenges with a variety of materials. They identify a problem, sketch ideas, construct a model, and test how well it works. Lessons explore concepts such as stability, strength, and motion while helping students use results to improve their designs.
