Terms & Conditions
The terms that apply when you use this website or enroll in a Digital Dreamers program.
Last updated August 2, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and set out the ground rules for enrolling in our programs. Please read them. If you enroll, register for a program, or apply to teach with us, you are agreeing to them.
Using this website
You may use this site to learn about our programs, contact us, apply to teach, and enroll. Please do not misuse it, that includes attempting to gain unauthorized access, disrupting the site, scraping it at a scale that affects other visitors, or using it to break the law.
Enrollment and participation
Enrolling a student is subject to space, age and grade requirements, and the policies of the school or site where the program runs. A place is confirmed only once we have confirmed it in writing.
Parents and guardians are responsible for providing accurate registration information, including allergies, medical needs, and authorized pickup contacts, and for keeping that information current.
We may remove a student from a program where their behavior puts themselves or others at risk, or where program policies are repeatedly not followed. We will always try to work with families first.
Fees, payment, and refunds
Program fees, payment schedules, and refund and cancellation terms are set out in the registration materials for each program, and those terms apply to your enrollment. Where a program is funded by a school or district, that agreement governs instead.
We may cancel or reschedule a session for reasons outside our control, such as a site closure or unsafe conditions. Where we cancel a session and cannot reschedule it, we will offer a credit or refund for that session.
Instructor applications
Applying through this site does not create an offer of employment or engagement. All roles are subject to interview, reference checks, and the background screening and clearances described on our Careers page. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of work or of a particular rate.
Photography and media
We sometimes photograph program activities. We only use images of students in our materials where a parent or guardian has given permission, and permission can be withdrawn at any time by contacting us.
Our content
The text, images, curriculum descriptions, logos, and design on this site belong to Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy or our licensors. You may share and print pages for personal, school, or family use. Please ask before republishing our content commercially or using our name or logo.
Accuracy of information
We work to keep program details, schedules, and pricing current, but this site is informational and may contain errors or become out of date. The details confirmed to you in writing at registration take precedence over anything on this page.
Third-party links
Our site links to other services, including job boards and the marketplaces our classes are listed on. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and the courts of Alameda County, California will have jurisdiction over any dispute.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
