About the role

We're looking for an energetic and engaging Hip Hop Dance Instructor to lead an after-school dance program in Napa. Students in grades K-5 learn age-appropriate, beginner-friendly choreography while building confidence, coordination, rhythm, and teamwork in a positive and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Lead engaging hip-hop dance classes using the provided curriculum. Teach beginner-friendly choreography and movement techniques tailored for elementary students in grades K-5. Encourage creativity, confidence, and active participation. Create a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom environment. Communicate professionally with school staff and site leaders. Submit brief after-class updates following each session. Schedule: Mondays, 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. 8 classes. Start date September 14, 2026.

What we’re looking for

Experience teaching dance or movement classes is preferred. Genuinely enjoy working with elementary-aged students in grades K-5. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Maintain clear and timely communication with the program team and submit brief after-class reports on time. Must be able to commit to the program starting September 14. Applicant must reside in Napa or within 20 miles of Napa.
