About the role

We are seeking energetic and dependable Team Sports Instructors to lead elementary-level after-school enrichment programs in San Jose for the Fall 2026 season. Instructors organize and lead engaging soccer and team sports activities that promote teamwork, sportsmanship, confidence, and physical activity in a positive learning environment. This role is ideal for coaches, educators, college students, and anyone who enjoys working with young learners through active, interactive programming. Responsibilities: Lead elementary team sports enrichment classes during after-school hours. Organize age-appropriate sports games, drills, and group activities. Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, participation, and positive behavior. Create a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment. Manage classroom and activity behavior while ensuring student safety. Submit a brief after-class report following each session. Communicate professionally with program staff and school personnel. Schedule: Wednesdays, 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Kindergarten to 5th grade. Start date September 2, 2026.

What we’re looking for

Experience working with elementary-aged students preferred. Background in coaching, sports instruction, physical education, or a related field preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and classroom management skills. Reliable, punctual, and professional. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Applicant must reside in San Jose or within 20 miles of San Jose. A background check is required prior to employment, and all mandatory training must be completed before the program starts.
