About the role
We are seeking an energetic, creative, and dependable After-School K-Pop Dance Instructor to lead fun, engaging dance classes for students in grades 1-5 in El Cerrito. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent graduates with experience or interest in K-Pop dance, hip-hop, choreography, contemporary dance, performing arts, or dance education who enjoy working with children. The instructor introduces students to K-Pop-inspired choreography, rhythm, musicality, movement, coordination, and performance through age-appropriate routines and dance activities. Students learn simplified choreography inspired by popular K-Pop styles while building confidence, teamwork, creativity, and a love of movement. You do not need to be a professional dancer or have formal teaching credentials — we are looking for someone enthusiastic about K-Pop dance who enjoys working with young students. Schedule: Weekday afternoons, 2 to 3 hours per week. Grades 1-5.
