A Spring of Building and Coding at Cornerstone Academy Prep
At Alpha: Cornerstone Academy Prep in San José, we brought Robotics and Coding into the spring enrichment lineup. Through Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy, we offered hands-on ways to explore how a physical build and a set of instructions work together.
Building with a purpose
Our Robotics approach connected construction with movement and programming. How parts fit together matters, but so does the code that guides what happens next. Coding brought that thinking into sequences of instructions, with attention to order, clarity, and whether the result matched the intended action.
Making the next adjustment
We treated testing as part of creating. Checking a connection, reviewing a command, or changing a sequence gives students something specific to investigate. Our partnership with Cornerstone made room for that process, offering opportunities to develop an idea and work through the details that help it function.
