A Creative Spring of Dance and Sculpture at Blue Oak School
At Blue Oak School in Napa, we brought K-Pop Dance and Sculpture into the spring enrichment lineup. Through Digital Dreamers STEAM Academy, we offered creative experiences that involved both learning a sequence and developing something with your hands.
Connecting the steps
Our dance approach broke choreography into manageable sections. Counts helped connect movements with the music, while practice brought attention to timing and coordination. Working through smaller sections offered a way to make a longer routine more approachable.
Looking at a piece from every side
Sculpture introduced a different kind of decision-making through shape, proportion, and balance. Shaping and arranging materials invited attention to how elements fit together and how a piece changes when viewed from another angle. We enjoyed bringing both programs to Blue Oak, welcoming different interests within the same spring lineup.
