This role is ideal for educators and STEM professionals who enjoy making technology approachable, interactive, and fun through hands-on coding and robotics experiences. Using beginner-friendly programming platforms and educational robotics, you'll guide students as they develop computational thinking, engineering, and problem-solving skills through collaborative, project-based learning. Whether students are writing their first lines of code or programming a robot to complete a challenge, you'll help build confidence, creativity, and a love of innovation. Responsibilities: Lead engaging Coding & Robotics lessons using provided curriculum. Teach foundational coding concepts through platforms such as Scratch and other age-appropriate programming tools. Facilitate hands-on robotics activities that develop engineering, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration through project-based learning. Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment. Prepare lesson materials and robotics equipment before each class. Communicate professionally with school staff and follow all site procedures. Submit a brief after-class session report following each class. Schedule: Fall 2026 Afterschool Program (Sep 1 - Dec 17, 2026).
