After-School Culinary, part-time contract, Fall term weekday afternoons, elementary grades. We are looking for an enthusiastic On-Call Substitute Cooking Teacher to lead hands-on cooking classes for elementary students. Students learn kitchen safety, cooking fundamentals, teamwork and creativity through fun, age-appropriate recipes. Curriculum and lesson materials provided.
What we’re looking for
Experience working with elementary-aged children is required. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Comfortable leading hands-on cooking activities. Must maintain clear and timely communication with the program team and submit after-class reports. Must be available for the Fall schedule, weekday afternoons. Must reside in Oakland or within 20 miles.
