About the role
We're looking for a creative and hands-on STEAM Instructor to lead an engaging after-school enrichment program centered around invention, engineering, makerspace activities, and introductory circuitry. Through interactive design challenges and hands-on building projects, students will explore how things work by creating, testing, and improving their own inventions. Activities include basic circuits, engineering challenges, DIY maker projects, and collaborative problem-solving that encourage creativity, innovation, and critical thinking. This role is ideal for educators, makers, engineers, and STEAM enthusiasts who enjoy inspiring young learners through project-based learning. Responsibilities: Lead engaging hands-on STEAM lessons using provided curriculum. Facilitate maker projects, engineering challenges, and introductory circuitry activities. Guide students as they design, build, test, and improve their creations. Encourage creativity, collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving. Maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment. Prepare lesson materials and activity supplies before each session. Communicate professionally with school staff and follow all site procedures. Schedule: Fall 2026 Afterschool Program (Aug 27 - Dec 17, 2026).
